I call this site by this ridiculous name because Musk embodies the utter and offensive arrogance of the mega rich. I want to express my free speech in denouncing his approach to free speech as being a suppression of proper reasoned dialogue and discussion, the essence of free speech as intended in the US Constitution. He talks a lot about free speech, but actually does not care for it, fails to know what it means and actively, on his X or whatever the platform social media thing is, destroys the very fundamental issue of free speech.
Voltaire would not give such a creature the time of day, and certainly would be hard put to fight for Musk’s right to say anything. Musk feels that he can spread the most egregious lies about Britain and about the USA. But what is most annoying is that he is saying Britain is on the brink of civil war and he preaches a revolution against the elected government of Britain (regardless of whether it is a good or a bad government) and yet the western nation most at war with itself is the good ol’ USA under the dysfunctional autocratic President who once had his nose up Musk’s backside and is finding that there is a peculiar smell so he had to pull it out. And Trump did the same with Putin, except that he still likes that aroma of complete power that he smells up that bottom.
