This blog is an irregular post about ideas that I feel I would like to air in public.  It will discuss issues of the day – social, political or just interesting to me, but will also have themes.  The initial theme is about the importance of how we use words and the obligations the wordsmith has to the reader.  At times there will be original poetry and fiction, the assessment of its quality I leave to anyone who reads what I post.  However I would ask everyone who comments to read the very first blog on this site before taking the time to offer their views.
